Bob Dyer Bench Memorial

Sep 13, 2017 | Bob Dyer, News, Projects | 1 comment

On October 6, the Petaluma Wetlands Alliance will dedicate a bench at Shollenberger Park to honor Bob Dyer, a PWA board member and long time wetlands supporter. Bob took most of the photos on this web site and submitted regular articles to the FaceBook Page. He also was our most Senior Docent and educated adults and students over many years at Shollenberger. The dedication will take place at Point Blue Conservation Science on 3820 Cypress Dr., Petaluma at 3:30. After short speeches we will walk out to the bench on the south path to commemorate Bob.

Bob was a wonderful teacher and tireless protector of the wetlands and its birds. I miss his stalwart support of our fight to preserve Shollenberger Park and will always think of him when I walk the paths out there.
