Spread the Word: Annual Docent Training Begins January 9th!

Dec 7, 2024 | News | 0 comments

The Docent Training Program runs for 5 consecutive Thursdays, (reduced from 7.) The dates are: January 9, January 16, January 23, January 30, and February 6. Sessions are held at the Petaluma Community Center from 9 a.m. until 12 noon, except for the January 16th session, which will take place at Shollenberger Park and adjoining wetlands, weather permitting, and will be followed by a PWA-sponsored luncheon at Lily Kai, just down the street from Shollenberger, on the S McDowell extension, at 12:30. See flyer below for more information. We need more docents interested in learning how to bring our wetland curriculum to 3rd graders in order to sustain the program at the level being requested by our schools! Please help keep this valuable program going!
