The Petaluma Wetlands Field Guide identifies and describes 200 common species of plants and animals observable from the Petaluma Wetlands public trails with beautiful photos of each species and notes the roles of these organisms in the greater ecosystem. It describes the Petaluma Wetlands location, size, and ecology; the geology, climate, and brief history of the area; the park and public trail system; and the vital role of sedimentation in the wetlands. The Petaluma Wetland Alliance marketing team and book authors will present their new book with slide show, book reading, questions to the authors, and end with a book signing. Books can be purchased on site.
