Owl Boxes Cleaned Out, Camera Now In One.

Oct 26, 2019 | Birds, Ellis Creek, News, Projects | 0 comments

Len Nelson lead of team to helpers and over several mornings was able to clean out all of the 19 owl boxes in Ellis Creek. Most are on the path next to Ellis Creak. The largest one is in the Eucalyptus tree in the center of the property between the ponds.

This box got an additional house on top with a phone based solar powered security camera from Reolink. Within 2 days an owl came home to the box and seen on camera. After we check out the best settings for viewing we will start posting pictures and videos.

When cleaning out one box Len had to wake up an owl and scoot him out.
