9th Annual CBC4Kids Recap

Jan 8, 2018 | Events, For Kids, News | 0 comments

We had 48 kids, 40 parents, and 12 docents for a grand total of 100; a record turnout.   The kids included 18 Girl Scouts who were well prepared for the count.  I hope to see them again with the rest of the kids this spring for the Annual Feather Fest for Kids.

Despite being very foggy early, the sun broke out around 11 with the spectacular light enabling great views of the colorful birds.   The total species count was 70 and the total bird count was 1,805.

Many thanks to the Elks Lodge #901 for their sponsorship!
